At the Peles Castle

I love my country..it has amazing places, unique in Europe..such as the Peles Castle.

Peles Castle is a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, near Sinaia, in Prahova County, Romania, on an existing medieval route linking Transylvania and Wallachia, built between 1873 and 1914. Its inauguration was held in 1883.

Peles Castle is considered by many one of the most beautiful castles in all Europe. It was the final resting place for several Romanian monarchs including King Carol I, who died here in 1914..

Peles is surrounded by seven terraces decorated with statues (sculptured by the Italian, Romanelli), stone-made-wells, ornamental vases and Carara marble.

If you haven’t visited yet, now it’s the perfect time. The gardens are all green, full of flowers, mmmm and the smell of mountain makes you feel like royalty  🙂

Until next time, kiss & love ♡
